D.u.m.b.o. arts center (dac) Winter Auction 2005

Support my man Osman and the d.u.m.b.o. arts center (dac) Winter Auction:
"d.u.m.b.o. arts center (dac) is pleased to announce its sixth annual Winter Auction. Approximately 90 works by established and emerging artists, on view beginning December 3rd, will be auctioned on December 10, 2005. All proceeds support (dac)’s exhibition program of emerging artists.
d.u.m.b.o. arts center (dac) is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to preserving and enriching the identity of D.U.M.B.O. as an artists community. To this end, (dac) promotes the work of emerging artists by presenting group exhibitions in its gallery, maintaining a slide registry of Brooklyn-based artists and producing the annual d.u.m.b.o. art under the bridge festival. (dac) grew out of the first d.u.m.b.o. art under the bridge festival in 1997 and serves as the year-round hub for D.U.M.B.O.’s artists’ community.
The 2005 Winter Auction will be held at the d.u.m.b.o. arts center (dac) gallery located at 30 Washington Street, Brooklyn, New York, and will consist of both live and silent bidding:
- December 3th-10th, 10am-6pm. Silent Auction. Works may also be viewed and bids placed online at www.dumboartscenter.org website by clicking here beginning November 24th.
- December 10th, Pre-Auction Reception 6-8pm. Live Auction beginning at 8pm. Featuring works by artists Vito Acconci, Kiki Smith, Jim Dine, Mel Bochner, St. Clair Cemin, William Bailey, Marcel Duchamp, Richard Estes, Donald Sultan, Nola Zirin, Ray Smith, and Stephen Lack.
